Week One

Week 1: 07/01/2016

We are now starting Unit 2. In this section I will be doing a lot of research in order to extract information from written sources and get ideas to use in my animation. We are doing this in order to understand what is essential in our animation. The animation is targeted for KS3 students, aged 11-14, these students are all females, in this case it is important to look at layouts and how things are presented to that specific target audience.

Things to include:
     -The written sources are examples of books, journals, websites and magazines.

-The Reading part is all to do with scanning the text and skim-read the text.

                  -Extracting information are examples of summarizing the reason as to why I've chosen that specific magazine.

In this first week I will be researching:
-Magazines
-Posters
-Books

This are the magazines I've researched, I've spoken about the target audience and what these magazines have in common with my animation. I have looked at the layout and how it looks like in terms of colour, images and font.
